An injury suffered during the St. Louis Rams’ 42-6 loss to the Indianapolis Colts proved to be costly in more ways than one as Rams cornerback Bradley Fletcher will miss the rest of the season.
During the game on Sunday, Fletcher suffered two torn ligaments in his right knee. As a result, he will require two operations and may not be ready for the beginning of next season, according to coach Steve Spagnuolo.
In addition to Fletcher’s injury, long snapper Chris Massey will also miss the rest of the season as he too is set to undergo knee surgery. Also, guard Richie Incognito will be out this weekend with a ligament injury to his right foot; expect offensive tackle Adam Goldberg to take his place in the lineup with rookie Jason Smith moving over to right tackle.
