Defense was of championship quality-without Winf they're just very, very tough.

I think you just need to enjoy the ride...Superbowl is important but as a fan, you're seeing what Green Bay saw for 16 years and the reason so many Pack fans were pissed that Favre's gone...every game is exciting because no matter what you think they have a chance. Up until now, Favre's given you guys at least 2 mini-superbowl-style exciting wins making you happy you watched the entire game...but if you take it for what it is, coming out on the other side isn't as bad as you think... Next Sunday there'll be another show even if they weren't playing the Pack. Lucky bastards ;)

Not a fan of either of the teams, but keep in mind that the Steelers also lost a touchdown to the incredibly bad offensive pass-interference call on Heath Miller early in the game.

Overall I thought it was a pretty evenly-matched game, with the advantage going decidedly to the Steelers on defense and the Vikes on Offense and ST's. And as is typical in evenly matched games, the difference came down to turnover differential.

The Vikings did not get beat by the Steelers - they got beat by themselves. Pittsburgh's offensive only managed 1 touchdown early in the game, and then nothing. Take away that bogus "tripping" call that resulted in us losing 4 points and it would have been a different game. But yeah, we do need to watch the ball, especially when we are in the red zone apparently.

Welcome to Ron Winter's fun football crew Vikings fans! The crew that decides the winner at the coin flip(Steelers and Pats MUST win!). 4 penalties on that drive kids! There was NO WAY you were taking the lead against Pittsburgh, not with ol' Ronny in control.
