It’s that time of the year for teams that are tanking it to start talking about coaching changes. Every season it happens as teams start to already start looking forward to the next season, and it’s the coach that always seem to end up on the hot seat. This season is no different. Teams such as the Titans, Redskins, Raiders, Bucs, Browns and Rams are struggling, and there’s some talk about certain coaches cleaning out their desks.
In most cases, it’s not a good idea to can a coach. It never seems to work, and even last season when Jim Haslett took over for the Rams, he won his first two games, only to then never win again. This season the hottest coaching talks seem to be around the Titans and Redskins. Jim Zorn is dead man walking in Washington, as he’s already gotten his play calling duties taken away, and the team is totally inept on offense. In Tennessee, owner Bud Adams isn’t rushing out to give Jeff Fisher a vote of confidence after the team was beaten 31-9 at home two weeks ago by the Colts, then 59-0 Sunday in New England.
So should these two get replaced? Zorn should. He’s lost total control of the team (even if the players say otherwise), and now that he is getting things taken off his plate, soon he won’t have a plate at all. Daniel Snyder reportedly wants Jon Gruden, and that’s not a bad fit for a team that just never seems to play up to their level of talent.
As for Fisher, he’s proven that he can rally a team, and for that, he should not be shown the door so easily. His team was just 13-3 a season ago, and they are simply not as good as that record, but again, he’s been able to rally teams before, and that should not be forgotten so quickly. If the Titans end up sitting at 1-15 or 2-14, it’s another story, but knowing Fisher, he’ll get his troops at least 5-6 wins this season still.

Jeff deserves better
Zorn needs to go
Who cares about Jim Zorn and the Redskins! Jeff Fisher though? In a Manning jersey? WTF?!
What’s next, Coughlin in a Romo jersey? Tomlin in a Palmer jersey? McCarthy in a Farve jersey?! I have always loved Fisher but c’mon Jeff! The Titans are 0-6! You need to be fired you idiot! How hot would Bill Belichick look in a Trent Edwards jersey? Not so hot Jeff! Have a fun career as a subpar analyst you overrated loser! I can’t wait to see Singletary in a Bulger jersey! Aint gonna happen Jeff! Retire or be canned you jerk!
I was on such a frantic roll, I even spelled Favre wrong! My bad. I didn’t spell Fisher wrong though Jeff! You hear me Jeff you traitor! Real funny Jeff! I’ll bet Dungy didn’t have a Collins or Young(Vince, not Steve) jersey on at that fundraiser! McNair is rolling over in his grave, without the Manning jersey on! Thanks Jeff!
