Source: Giants QB Eli Manning Can Play With Injury
Posted by Jeremy Fuchs under Injuries, New York Giants

A medical source told GiantsGab today that QB Eli Manning can play with his plantar fasciitis injury–provided he can take the pain. The source, who has not treated Manning, described the fasciitis muscle as, “The bow in a bow and arrow. It extends from the heel onward, and acts as a thin layer protecting the foot.”
If Eli can tolerate the pain, he can play. If not, he won’t. Simple as that. The source said that if this were a running back, who has to cut and plant, it would be much harder to play with. It’s likely that Manning will have his foot taped heavily, so it doesn’t move around a lot.

Seems like a tough outcome for Manning either way.
I dont think its time for Eli to come back in, not while he’s still injured. If he will be in pain it will be a big disaadvantage for the team. for other football discussions i recommend http://www.cappersisland.com sports forum. regards
I hope Eli plays because this will be a top fantasy week for him!!
