“Pacman” Jones Tweets About Why He Didn’t Go to the CFL
Posted by Matt Loede under Off The Field News

Adam “Pacman” Jones remains on the sidelines, sitting out the NFL season as no team decided at least for now to take a chance on the former Titan first-round pick and Cowboy. There was a report that Jones was going to the CFL to play for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, but on September 2nd the deal broke down.
And no one really knew why.
Well, Jones is speaking up, using of course Twitter, to tell everyone the “real” reason that he’s not playing in Canada.
Jones wrote today the following on his account about not going to play for the Blue Bombers:
“I can not sit back anymore and not say anything, the reason I ddn’t go to the CFL is – becuase they wanted me to commit for two years. So you people can stop with all the rumors.”
Jones probably thought that a good season in the CFL would mean another shot in the NFL, but for whatever reason, Canada wanted him for two years. At this point – they can have him, but even Jones wanted to stay in the states to try again to play for the NFL. Good luck.
