The National Football League’s coffers got a bit bigger as the league announced on Friday that Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss and New York Giants cornerback Corey Webster were fined $5,000 apiece for their involvement in a tussle during their game last week.
Moss and Webster struck their heads – knocking Moss’ helmet off his head – during the Giants’ 23-17 win over the Redskins last Sunday; subsequently, the officials assessed personal fopuls aginst both Webster and Moss.
