It’s a beautiful thin to see. Adrian Peterson, who came into the NFL as a standing tall lightening bolt of a running back, has transformed into a monster “every down” running back. He is no longer a specialty running back who sprints around the defensive line to disappear many yards down the sidelines.
In today’s Minnesota vs Cleveland games he has already run in 2 touch downs, but he is also busting through the line for first downs. The only thing slowing him down is the blood running down his arm from a hydrating IV.
“Adrian Peterson runs for 5 yards, now for 10 yards, and now for 2 yards. First down Vikings!” It’s a beautiful thing.
