Rams Release 19, Place DT Carriker On IR

The St. Louis Rams were quite busy on Saturday as they released 19 players and placed two on injured reserve. The Rams released: running backs Antonio Pittman and Chris Ogbonnaya and guard Roy Schuening, quarterback Brock Berlin, linebackers K.C. Asiodu and Dominic Douglas, defensive tackle Antwon Burton, tight end Eric Butler, defensive end Ian Campbell, offensive tackles Renardo Foster and Phil Trautwein, fullback Jerome Johnson, center Tim Mattran, cornerback Cord Parks, safety Mark Rubin and wide receiver Sean Walker. The contracts of safety Todd Johnson and wide receivers Tim Carter and Ronald Curry were terminated.
In addition, the team placed defensive tackle Adam Carriker and defensive end Eric Moore – Carriker due to a shoulder injury and Moore with a hand injury.
