With Knapp as your OC I wouldn't get your hopes up. Watching the Raiders Offense last year was painful. The rushing attack playbook consisted of I formation left, right and centre using a ZBS. Knapp does the fundamentals well but it's too predictable, the best Defenses swarmed over the ball carrier. If he could mix it up with a bit of mis-direction and the occasional trap and counter then it would keep the backside pursuit honest. Until that happens, best of luck.

If you Seattle idiots don't remember, Greg knapp was a horrible play caller. Take the Oakland raiders bs Atlanta falcons game for example:
how many points did the raiders score in that game? 0
How many first downs did they get? 2
what happened to Greg knapp after that game? He had his play-calling role stripped.
Also he doesn't have his partner in crime O-line coach Tom Cable, who opted to be the head coach of the raiders.
So I just wonder if he can't suceeded with the Raiders, who have better running backs, then how can he make Seattle have a top flight rushing attack?

Nice read, Devon. Keeping everyone healthy this year will allow the Seahawks to protect Matt H. and give the running game a chance too. Liked your take on using Owen Schmitt more in the offense - he has good hands. He caught a lot of passes for WVU in the flat and had some extensive YAC on a few of those. Of course, Owen doesn't care about being utilized in this way; he'd rather just hit somebody and drive them downfield. He's a wreckless bulldozer of a blocker, and just wants to pave the way for whoever follows him thru the hole.
