Drew Pearson made more big catches for the Cowboys than any reciever in their history,
including Bob Hayes & Michael Irvin. He was a member of the NFL all decade team for the seventies. His omission from the ring is mind boggling.

I've got two for you...

Jimmy Johnson. Creator of the greatest Cowboys team ever. So good was the team that they cruised to yet another superbowl even after he left.

Danny White. He never got to win a Superbowl thanks to Montana, but he was a really good QB, better than Romo for sure.

I agree that Waters is another really good one that should be up there.

Novacek was good, certainly, though he did have a slight advantage with people worrying about Smith and Irving.

Anyway, I know there's no way Johnson will get up there while Jones is in control... though I'm sure Jones is the reason behind all the tension they had. Danny White was my favorite growing up, I was Danny White many times while playing with friends. I still hate "the catch."

You are dead on with those candidates for the RoH! I am not certain that JJ knows his stuff as well as he thinks he does.

I could not agree with you more. Waters definitely deserves to be honored with the ROH. Jerry Jones needs to get his act together and actually award deserving people with this honor. I don't see what his problem is?! I'm glad Emmitt Smith and Aikman were recipients. Talk about deserving players. Should be interesting to see them hang out with their fans and other sports pros at that legends challenge poker event coming up soon. I would love to see that.
