Marshall, Just what the Browns Need..
Posted by Brandon Judeh under Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos

Recently there have been rumors that Brandon Marshall, who is holding out of Broncos camp, may be shipped to the Cleveland Browns for Josh Cribbs and draft picks.
I hope these reports are false.
Why would the Browns want another Braylon Edwards?
Sure Marshall is a talent and capable of over 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns, but do the Browns really need another distraction?
It is bad enough we have Edwards crying about things in Cleveland off and on, why would we want a duplicate?
Plus I thought that the Browns were looking to stock pile draft picks, not give them away for a disgruntled receiver.
And it seems more and more that the rumors are true about Cribbs being unhappy in Cleveland, but why would we trade an explosive returner, who is one of the top returners in the game and a cornerstone for the franchise?
Of course all of this is just a rumor, for now, let us hope it stays this way.

DON’T DO IT CLEVELAND!
Cribbs is the type of athlete that doesn’t come along very often. You can’t replace a guy like him. There are a ton of recievers like Marshall out there. We drafted two WR’s pretty high in the draft so I would think that we would stick with them and not make a dumb move to bring in a WR with an ego.
I don’t think the browns are that dumb
With Brandon Marshall and Donte Stallworth, the Browns would have bookend wide receivers. Only the Bengals would put up with them. Cribbs, by himself, is more valuable than Marshall. Everybody beats up on Braylon Edwards because he has one bad season. Would you trade Derek Jeter if he had a bad season?
