Josh Cribbs may not be the only unhappy Cleveland Brown this summer.
According the the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Kicker Phil Dawson is rumored to be unhappy with his current contract. This is why it is assumed that he did not report to voluntary minicamp this week.
Dawson is set to make $1 million this year and next.
Both Dawson and his agent, Neil Cornrich, could not be reached for comment as of now.
It will be interesting in the coming weeks to see, if indeed Dawson does want more money, if the Browns will give it to him.
Dawson is one of the most accurate kickers in the league, his career field goal average is 82.8 percent and last season he scored a career high 120 points, which is second most all-time in Browns history.
Due to Dawson’s absence, the Browns signed rookie kicker Parker Douglass out of South Dakota State to a two-year contract. and he has handled all of the kicking in practice this week.
