		<description>Those wafts of smoke you are seeing are all the media folks overheating. The news so far this summer is that there IS no news. Favre is keeping the public out of his decision making for once. However, the public can&#039;t stay out of it. Don&#039;t blame it on Brett. Also, I think Brett respects the integrity of his body and is not a surgery guy. John Elway had the same injury and it healed on its own. Nice illiteration, but leave the guy alone. You are adding to the fodder.</description>

Uh ... yeah?  You do realize that he almost DIED as a result of his first addiction, right?  And that he has not had a drink in over a decade because he also recognized he was an acoholic ... so bad that his wife presented divorce papers and said she would leave unless he stopped?  He has an addictive personality, he knows, and he&#039;s terrified of relapsing.

You think yourself clever, I&#039;m sure, writing something like &quot;Favre is more afraid of cutting flesh than a three year old is of a birthday clown.&quot;  But in light of what Favre has been through, it actually just sounds lame.</description>
