Favre’s Agent Says There’s “No Substance” Regarding Comeback
Posted by Matt Loede under Brett Favre

So Brett Favre supposedly saw Dr.James Andrews about his arm and what type of real damage has been done to it. Okay, in the end, does it really mean he’s coming back? Listen to NFL Network, NFL Radio, and ESPN, and Favre’s supposed “comeback” is about all they seem to talk about these days NFL related.
Today in the Hattiesbrug American (interesting name for a paper), Favre’s agent – the now famous Bus Cook, came out and said that just because Favre talked to Andrews, it means little. Cook didn’t confirm or deny the visit, but said “there’s absolutely no substance to all the speculation” surrounding the Favre’s un-retirement.
Okay, so now what? It’s another sit back and wait situation. Favre has reportedly already told the Vikings, a team that has had interest in him since his comeback last season, that he was not coming back. But at the end of the day, there are still many inside the NFL, and a lot of players that seem to think Favre returning is without question going to happen.
“Have there been meetings (between Favre and the Vikings)? Are there any scheduled? To my knowledge, no,” Cook said. “Right now, Brett’s retired. He’s out there cutting grass.”
Yeah, and I’m sure that’s the end of the story. Not quite.
