Former Bills Great Bruce Smith Arrested

The list of off season arrests for the Buffalo Bills continues to grow. Buffalo Bills Hall Of Fame defensive end Bruce Smith was arrested and charged with DUI Friday morning according to Virginia Beach Police.
Smith played most of his career with the Buffalo Bills and is the NFL’s all time sack leader.
Smith released the following statement on Friday:
“I apologize to my family, friends and fans. I acknowledge my responsibility as a role model, and drinking and driving under any circumstance is wrong. I plan on taking steps to insure this never happens again.”
Smith has been charged with DUI in the past. In 1997 the charge was dismissed and in 2003 he was acquitted.
