The deal that the Eagles offered for Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin was a third-round pick and cornerback Sheldon Brown.  That story came out from XTRA 910 in Phoenix sports-talker Mike Jurecki.  The call for Boldin from the Eagles came on draft day, and needless to say the Cardinals probably laughed it off.

Jurecki said that the Cardinals did have another offer for Boldin, and it was from Chicago for a second-round pick, which again the Cardinals said “no” to.  Both Boldin and Brown are players that don’t want to be with their current teams and want to be traded, but if the Eagles would have offered a one, maybe the deal would have went down.

The Cardinals had released that they had gotten two offers for Boldin, and reports say that these were the two offers.  For now, Brown is still an Eagle, and Boldin is still unhappy in the desert with the Cardinals.  It does not seem that either are going to be moved anytime soon.
