Mike Brown is the soul of the defense. When he is playing their run defense is so much better. I understand his history of injuries, mostly bad breaks, and the Bears need to solidify this position. But the fact of the matter they have not. They went out and signed Bullocks and Earl. Are you kidding me? Bullocks could not get on the field for the worst secondary in the league last year and Earl did not play because of injury. It seems to me they could have worked out a short term deal 1-2 years.
