Are Eagle Fans Becoming a Bit Uncomfortable with the Idea of Favre in Purple
Posted by Chris Boynton under Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles

According to a post on the Daily News’ Eagles blog, Eagles fans had better keep their fingers crossed that Brett Favre stays retired and doesn’t sign with the Vikings.
“ The Vikings are a good quarterback away from being a legitimate Super Bowl contender and possibly leapfrogging over the Eagles and Giants as the best team in the NFC“.
The big question is weather Favre is healthy enough to still be an elite quarterback.
The source sites the fact that for the first 3 months last season, he certainly was, as he completed 70.7 percent of his passes and threw 20 TD passes in his first 11 games with the Jets while leading the team to an 8-3 start.
But does Minnesota get THAT Favre, or the one who completed just 56 % of his passes while throwing only two TD passes and nine interceptions as the Jets won just once in their last five games.
Many feel that a big reason for Favre’s late-season ineffectiveness was the injuries sustained to his elbow and shoulder. As far as anyone can seem to tell, he has not had surgery to repair either, opting instead to rehab. This isn’t his first such injuries and there is concern over whether his elbow and shoulder can hold up for another full season at age 39.
The difference between last year and this, is that last year, he only had a couple of weeks to prepare himself for the season while this year he’d have at least have the better part of 3 months prior to the start of training camp to get ready both physically and mentally for the rigors of potentially playing 19 or 20 games.

Oh no no no. The Iggles better be afraid of the REDSKINS. The vikings are SEVERAL pieces away from even getting out of the first round of the playoffs.

The Eagles don’t fear any team…
