He tore his shoulder up in a MNF game against the Raiders-- a major third degree seperation, as in the arm was hanging on by a thread-- but completed that game with a heroic win. He was never appreciated in Denver as he should have been, but he was one hell of a tough football player who was extraordinarily accurate.
