Per The Star Ledger

The Giants will spend Thanksgiving in the Rocky Mountains, as NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced Monday that the defending NFC East champions will face the Denver Broncos in primetime on Nov. 26.

The game, the first Thanksgiving contest in Denver since 1963, will be held at INVESCO Field at Mile High, in Denver at 8:20 p.m., and will air on the NFL Network.

The rest of the 2009 regular-season schedule will be announced in April.

In addition to the Giants-Broncos game, there will be two other nationally televised games on Thanksgiving. As per tradition, the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys each will host a game.

The Lions face the Green Bay Packers in a game that will kick off shortly after noon, while the Cowboys will play the first Thanksgiving Day matchup at their new $1.1 billion stadium, against the Oakland Raiders at 4:15 p.m.

I can’t think of a better way to spend Turkey day!!!!!!!!!!!
