The Lions are set to talk to another player that could find his way on the platform as the first overall pick in the draft on April 25th in New York. That player is former Boston College DT B.J. Raji. The menacing 6-foot-2, 337-pounder will talk to the Lions on Wednesday.
The Lions have already talked to a couple of players that could be that number one pick, as they talked to Georgia QB Matthew Stafford, Baylor OT Jason Smith, and yesterday they met with Wake Forest LB Aaron Curry visited yesterday.
Back to Raji, he is considered to be a top 10 pick, and most think that he is the best D-lineman in the draft. If nothing else, the Lions are making sure that they get all the facts and figures on these possible top picks before they make that all important selection.
