The building of the Rams offensive line continued on the first day of free agency on Friday, as reports say that the team has come to terms with Ravens free agent center/guard Jason Brown.
Reports say that the deal is for five years, and as expected it is believed to be the richest ever signed by a center. It was thought at the start that Brown would be able to garner the highest deal for an O-lineman ever.
Sources say that Brown did want to stay with the Ravens, but once it was known they would not pay him as much as he wanted, his next choice was to go to St.Louis
A couple of other teams had great interst in Brown, including the Dolphins, Vikings and Redskins, but the Rams were able to “show him the money” and land the best O-lineman of this years free agent class.
