Miami was 11-5 last season, but there is no doubt that there’s a lot on the roster to improve on. The team has about $24 million to spend in free agency, and there’s a lot of talk about adding a big name player.
Today’s South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that there are three players out there that could get a lot of looks from the Dolphins – Albert Haynesworth, Julius Peppers, and LB Karlos Dansby. Here is the report from the paper today:
The Dolphins have roughly $24 million to spend, and luring a stud like DT Albert Haynesworth, DE Julius Peppers and LB Karlos Dansby would go a long way toward improving the roster. But it would also eat up a large chunk of the available salary cap space considering many of the elite free agents will be looking for record-setting deals for their position. Dolphins czar Bill Parcells has been given the green light to spend what he needs to improve the roster.
