Chung anyone ? The secondary could use some help. And definitely Crabtree or what about Boldin, he has proven to be a playmaker but, is being over shadowed by Fitzgerald.

I believe the Seahawks have a good shot at getting both TJ Houshmanzadeh and Michael Crabtree. Now they do need help on the offensive line so they could possibly pick one with the 4th pick or michael crabtree

I agree with you Hazean, I vote Crabtree. He had a huge effect in Texas-tech, and made some spectacular catches, all things Seattle could use.As to the defensive issue, I think Trufant will perform better next year, the only other thing I would say is, we should draft a better #2 CB. Wilson was good but the only thing he has going for him is KR and that is only because of his speed. Plus the RE position could use some work Kerney is out standing but there is no one to help put pressure on the other side. One more thing I would like to shout out how much I am impressed with john Carlson, I think hew has been one of the more stand out draft picks we have had in awhile.

We hear the rumor that the Seahawks could be interested in Bengals free-agent WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh might have some merit. Houshmandzadeh played his college ball at nearby Oregon State, and word is the team wants to avoid having to depend so much on unproven youngsters such as Ben Obomanu, Logan Payne and Courtney Taylor for another season. Also on the WR front, we hear Koren Robinson is a long shot to return. Said one source: “Not only does he have a bone-on-bone knee injury, but you just can’t count on him anymore as a legitimate run-after-catch threat.”

Good update on the state of the 'Hawks. They still have Koren Robinson on the roster who can still be of use, Michael Clayton from the Bucs is a free agent and there are some good receivers in the draft. However, spending a pick this high on a WR with the sieve of a defense being put on the field and an offensive line that no longer scares people (remeber that the decline of Shaun Alexander coincided with Steve Hutchinson's defection to Minnesota and the aging Walter Jones getting the injury bug.

The signing bonus money is better spent perhaps on a guy like Matt Birk perhaps? One of the receivers listed will slip in the draft ala Deshaun Jackson or Malcolm Kelly last year. Can this team trade down, pick up additional picks and save upfront salary cap dollars elsewhere? Besides, the running game is crap and if #8 cannot get added protection with a competant ground attack or enough time to get the ball down the field with a solid o-line, what good is a rookie receiver?

Go o-line or trade down for a slipping receiver while gaining valuable chips for the future as this team is aging badly on both sides of the ball.
