Former first round pick Chris McAlister is done for the season and in all probability his career in Baltimore.
McAlister who is not on the top of new head coach John Harbaugh’s list will undergo season ending surgery on his right knee to fix his PCL and some other damage in that area.
“He expressed to me that he felt like it was in his best interests,” Harbaugh said. “The knee is a problem because of the position he plays, the change of direction, the things he has to do without a PCL, just wore the knee down. So, he has to get it corrected.”
He has been benched the past couple of weeks but does lead the Ravens with three interceptions.
