Who’s the Better Team?

Collins leads the Titans

The Giants are 7-1. The Titans are 8-0. The Titans have a stifling defense, and a respectable passing game, with a solid running game. Giants have the best pass rush in football, amazing running game, and a solid passing game. Who’s better?

Honestly, I have no idea. None whatsoever. To me, they are actually pretty evenly matched. Both don’t go crazy with the passing game, and don’t rely on their QBs to make plays. They both have great ground games; Brandon Jacobs and Derrick Ward for the Gmen, Chris Johnson and LenDale White for the Titans. Titans probably have the best all-around D, but the Giants’ is up there too.

I think people get caught up with the so called ’surprising start’ of the Titans, with Vince Young out, and Kerry Collins in. People thought that the Giants Super Bowl run was a fluke, and they would return to normalcy. But, these teams are amazing. Great coaching leads to great teams, and these two have that. What I really want to see is one matchup, in early February, to see who’s better. Super Bowl XLIII, Titans v. Giants sounds pretty good to me.
