Broncos’ Marshall In Yet Another Legal Scrape
Posted by Stephen Rhodes under Denver Broncos, Off The Field News, Police Blotter

As if Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall is in enough legal hot water already, it appears that he is some more; according to ESPN.com, misdemeanor charges were filed against Marshall on September 10 in Fulton County (GA), in which a court date has not been set as of this writing. Broncos manager of media information Patrick Smyth has stated that the team was aware of these charges, but have no comment right now. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello wasn’t immediately available for comment.
To recap Marshall’s legal woes, he pleaded guilty on September 12 to a reduced charge of driving while impaired which stemmed from a drunken driving arrest made in October 2007; he was subsequently sentenced to one year of probation. As a result, the NFL suspended Marshall for three games for his off-field behavior - which was reduced to 1 game; he played his first game of the season against the San Diego Chargers.
