Site Editor Matt Loede’s 2008 AFC Champion, NFC Champion and Super Bowl Predictions

The 2008 season is finally upon us, with the first game of the season closing in. It’s going to be yet another exciting season around the league with storylines all over the place. Today being Labor Day it’s time to finally turn the pencil to pen (or in this case the rough draft to the real thing) and throw out there what yours truly thinks is going to go down in terms of predictions for this season. As you will be able to go back and see (minus the two divisional predictions I didn’t do), these are based off the divisional predictions that were reposted thoughout the day and tonight.

East Divisional Winner: New England 14-2
North Divisional Winner: Pittsburgh 10-6
South Divisional Winner: Indianapolis 11-5
West Divisional Winner: San Diego 11-5

Sadly, I think you may be right about my NY Giants not making the playoffs this year. I’d like to believe they could repeat, but it seems doubtful. Currently, Unspun has the Giants ranked 7th on the Best NFL Team in 2008 list. The Jets are currently better ranked, but that I definitely don’t accept.
