The Forgiving Commissioner

Jones

After missing all of the 2007 regular season because of his off the field conduct, Adam Jones has been fully reinstated by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Adam, formally Pacman, Jones hasn’t played since 2006 where he was argueably a top 5 cornerback but this year he’ll start out ruturning punts and as a nickel back but should move into the starters spot opposite Terrence Newman by midseason. Adam, who was eating a chicken sandwich at a Dallas area Hooters said “I am very grateful for this opportunity, and I understand my responsibilities to the Dallas Cowboys and the National Football League. Right now I just want to keep working hard so I can accomplish the goals that I have set for myself both on and off the field.”

Jones, 25, signed a 4 year deal with the Cowboys for 13.3 Million. If Jones can return to the form he showed as a Titan, then the Cowboys will have two shut down corners, making their defense something to talk about.

Will Adam (good) show up or will Pacman (evil) show up?

    That’s the real question!
