Ravens Waiting For Suggs’ Return
Posted by Stephen Rhodes under Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens, while still waiting for defensive end Terrell Suggs, have remained in contact with their franchise player, according to Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun; Suggs has missed all of training camp in protest of the franchise tag being given to him, which effectively kept him from becoming a free agent this offseason. According to team head coach John Harbaugh, the defensive coaches are in “constant communication” with Suggs about defensive schemes and practices.
Harbaugh said that Suggs’ absence doesn’t bother him, adding, “That’s part of the game. Would you like to have every guy here? Absolutely. But business side is the business. This guy Suggs loves football. He wants to be here, I know that. And I know he’s worked himself really hard in the offseason to be in great shape. He’s got to take care of the other side the way he sees fit. We respect that but we want him here as soon as possible and we’re hoping to get him here.”
