lol,
Colston has the best first 2 seasons of any reciever in league history. Last year he was in double coverage most of the time without concentration on healthy backs due to injuries. There was also no tight end that could catch.
This year with everyone healthy and the additions you have
BREES BUSH DEUCE COLSTON SHOCKEY, and some up and commers. Last year after the injuries it was BREES COLSTON.

As far as defence you cant base it off last years its a completely different squad dumbasses.
Saints or Bucs will win division. Whoever wins more home games.

This is a bit of a Homer article no? While the addition of Shockey is a great one Colston is still fairly inconsistent and lacks a double coverage demanding WR opposite him. Deuce has had a ton of problems staying healthy and Bush has yet to demonstrate himself as an every down back. They made some great moves in the offseason to patch up the secondary but they still lack an intimidating duo at FS and SS. The Boys, Giants and Packers will all give the Saints a good amount of trouble for the NFC championship.

Saints the best team in the NFC South? Don't make me laugh. If they were the pathetic BEARS wouldn't have OWNED them the past 2 years.

GO BUCS
'02 NFCS Champs, SB Champs
'05 NFCS Champs
'07 NFCS Champs

The Bucs OWN the South, and will prove that again this year.

I'll agree to this. If Meachem and Arrington can become a 3rd of what Colston is. Teams are going to be in trouble just on that alone. Include Shockey, a healthy McAllister and Bush. Teams stand no chance.

As for the defense. Vilma, Ellis and McCray are HUGE additions. Roman Harper is only getting better and now that he has a decent front 7, he'll be making plays all day in the secondary. Jason David was the reason for a 7.9 yards per reception. He's looking at the bottom up and isn't looking like a starter.

Cowboys will be good, Saints will be better.

Haha, you beat me to it, Loren. I, too, considered posting a rebut, but your post was concise and to the point.

I did think about writing a whole article on how you're completely wrong but i'll do it here. Defense wins Super Bowls and in 2007 their pass defense was 30th. 30th man! They gave up a league worst 7.9 yards per reception and a league worst opponent quarterback rating at 96.9. Brees is an accurate QB, but not the MOST accurate, that title belongs to Brady, Brees is ranked 3rd. And among the top 10 QBs he has the lowest yards per reception. Yes he'll have numbers this year, only cause they'll be caught up in shoot outs! I give them a 11-5 and a second round loss in the playoffs...
