I would like to make the case that Brett Favre should be traded to Baltimore Ravens for a 2009 2nd Day draft choice to replace their retired QB Steve McNair. This would allow Green Bay to not only clear the deck for QB Aaron Rogers, but also ensure that Favre does not go to any of their hated AFC North rivals. As for the Ravens, their window of opportunity to get back to the Super Bowl, particularly their defense, is closing fast and what better way to totally rejuvenate the team than by adding a 38-year old Pro Bowl QB. As the late HC of the Washington Redskins, George Allen, so eloquently stated, the future is now.

"Sounds about right to me. Tony G is getting old, other than Bowe a 2nd year WR.. who do we have?

We got a QB that couldnt hit the side of a barn and a very questionable OL. I see Brodie looking out his earhole quite a bit this upcoming season"

I'm beginning to think you're really a Raiders fan in disguise. Dwayne Bowe was only 5 yards short of 1000 yards as a ROOKIE. Tony Gonzalez led all TEs in catches AND yards last year. If LJ hadn't got injured, he was on pace for 1118 yards & that would've been his DOWN YEAR! 1st round pick Branden Albert has received raving reviews from training camp as our LT, moving Damion McIntosh to RT. Brian Waters is a pro bowler at LG. Second year man, Rudy Niswanger impressed me last year in limited action and will be our starting C this year...and there will be a competition in camp at RG. I don't care who the hell we plug in there because, no matter who it is, noone can be worse than John Welbourn! There's no way you can disagree with that. Also, Brodie was the NFL's best QB last year out of the guys who were starting for the first time, statistically speaking. He actually posted a better QB rating than Damon Huard did last year & keep in mind that Huard had the 2nd best QB rating in the NFL in '06, behind only Peyton Manning. So, I say that it's not the QB. It was the O-line & that entire unit has been improved ten fold. Claiming anything otherwise would be absurd. We were last in the NFL in terms of sacks allowed last year. It's not possible for us to get any worse!

"And to all my homer fans out there, take off the glasses you goofballs."

You're one to be calling people names. I'm surprised you can even claim you're a Chiefs fan with a straight face. What kind of fan walks around complaining about the Hunt family, of whom is solely responsible for the AFL/NFL merger. Get it straight, man. The reason we haven't won a SB is because Carl Peterson has signed patch work free agents for the last 20 years in an effort to keep butts in the seats. The problem with that is that our teams get too old before they can gel & play together well enough to make a run for a Lombardi Trophy. Because of what Dick Vermeil & CP did to our franchise, we're now having to build through the draft. Again, if you want to blame anyone for last season's struggles, forget about the Hunt family. You're not a real fan.

"Yes, Allen was our defense.. plain and simple.. he brought the heat and put alot of pressure on the QB's and caused havoc all year long."

Obviously, you can't just replace a guy like Allen. But, you can compensate in other ways. Let's take a closer look at that, shall we? Jared Allen, in his first two years in the league had 80 tackles, 20 sacks, 8.5 tackles for a loss, 7 forced fumbles & 5 passes defensed. Tamba Hali has 91 tackles, 15.5 sacks (from a tougher position to get sacks, LE), 10.5 tackles for a loss, 8 forced fumbles, 6 passes defensed AND one interception. Trust me, we have Jared's replacement in Tamba Hali. The question is: "do we have Tamba's replacement at LE?".

"Yeah, we may improve a little with Dorsey.. but you watch teams tear us a new ass when opposing QB's start whipping out folding chairs and the sports section before they throw the ball."

This is nothing more than speculation on your part. More importantly, it's another display of how disloyal you are as a fan.

"This is gonna be a complete disaster. I see us winning maybe 4 games. Thats because for 40 years the Hunt family has been fisting us fans for being the cheap bastage he is."

So you're breaking out that crystal ball again, huh? Well, since you can tell the future, would you mind giving me next week's winning lottery numbers? I'll promise to buy the Chiefs franchise & run it SOOOOoooooOOOOooo much better than that horrible Hunt family you keep referring to! I promise! I mean, I won't try to revolutionize the league at all! I'll even try to get the AFL teams taken out of the NFL! I promise!

At least you have valid reasons for ranking the Chiefs in the bottom 5 for offense. Ranking them in the bottom 5 for defense is still ludicrous, though.

Either way, I'm here this time to discredit yet another one of your articles. You claim that the Bears have a great defense, eh? Apparently you're unaware that they were ranked 28th in the league in total defense last year. Stop watching ESPN & copying off of other hack writers on no name websites. But, more importantly, start watching some live games. Maybe then, you'll be able to form an opinion that actually resembles something close to the truth.

Oh, and BTW, it's "corps", not "core". I guess that's just yet another thing you don't know.
