Looks like the Cardinals may have some issues when it comes to two starting defensive linemen being at offseason workouts. Profootballtalk.com is reporting that DT Darnell Dockett and DE Antonio Smith both will not be at the workous for Arizona, and both for different reasons. Dockett wants a new deal, and Smith won’t be there becuase he wants to be traded.
The source tells the site that the Cards are not going to make either player happy, as neither is going to get what they want. Dockett has been a solid player for the Cards the past few years, as he’s played in every game the last four seasons, putting up 15 sacks and three picks. He was a third round pick of Arizona back in 2004.
As for Smith, he was a fifth round pick that season, and has played in 43 career games, making 85 total tackles, with 11 sacks.
