Free agent cornerback Ty Law has been busy visiting two of his former employers. The five time pro-bowler has visited with both the New York Jets and the New England Patriots. Law was released by the Kansas City Chiefs after playing there for two seasons.
According to sources the Jets have shown a greater interest in Law. He visited with them on Wednesday.
When he was asked about his conversation with New England Law had this to say, good conversation” with coach Bill Belichick. “I’d say we’re definitely on good terms. He did express his interest in me coming there and I expressed mine, but I don’t know if it’s something that can get handled soon enough” .
When asked about his visit with the Jets Law sounded a little more confident that he may end up there saying, “I’m familiar up here with New York and Eric (Mangini) and this system. They’re been aggressive and enthusiastic about getting something done.”
No matter where Ty Law ends up he still can help a team for another year. My guess is he’ll be wearing Green and White.
