Walker

As expected, the Cowboys have interest in now released Broncos WR Javon Walker.  According to the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys right away stepped up and expressed an interest in Walker, who was due the first installment of $5.4 million in bonus money on Monday.  Right now Dallas wants to add a quality wide out to complement Terrell Owens, Terry Glenn, and Patrick Crayton.  Right now sources say that the team is not 100 percent sure how Glenn is going to come back after two knee surgeries in 2007.

Walker’s agent, Kennard McGuire, says that his client is going to be fine, despite the fact that Broncos coach Mike Shanahan says that the wide out may need microfracture surgery.  Word is the Cowboys, while they may like to take a closer look at Walker, will see what the market for him looks like and they wait to see what other teams go after him, and what type of money he may demand.
