Former QB Booty Subdued by Taser After Arrest

Former NFL QB and now TV and radio sportscaster Josh Booty had better learn you don’t mess with the law. The 32-year-old older brother of Southern Cal QB John David Booty suffered a black eye after having to be subdued by police and tasered after being arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. Booty was pulled over on the 55 Freeway in Santa Ana, California according to police.
“After being Tased he was fully compliant,” Lt. Hal Brotehim said of Booty. The former QB was taken with the 177th pick of the 01 draft by the Seahawks, and was later moved to the Browns via trade, where he spent three seasons before signing a two-year deal with the Raiders last season. He didn’t make the final roster, and was cut four months later.
