In what will without a doubt be great news for those who own PS2s, PS3s and XBoxes, the Associated Press is reporting that Electronic Arts (Home of the Madden video game franchise) will continue to produce exclusive NFL video games through the 2012 season after it extended its contracts with the league and the Players Association.
EA will retain its rights to use NFL teams, stadiums and players in its games, according to the company; the agreements also provide EA access to NFL Films and the NFL Network to use in its games.
