Ben is clearly the better of the three. I think Eli is over the hump and on the upswing, Phillip is too inconsistent and runs his mouth too much. He did play well in the AFC Championship game despite his injury.

"Ben's stats were better than both Mannings this year. But i have a question: who are raker and jackson?"

Are you kidding me? Any statistical analysis clearly puts Ben #1. The numbers don't lie. And Ben is also a clear #1 when it comes to intangibles: leadership; poise; presence. Eli got hot at the right time; his regular season numbers are nothing to write home about. Ben carried the Steelers to Super Bowl XL and his numbers this year are far better than Manning's.

Travis: not sure the 1,2,3 was a ranking. The question seemed to be still begging an answer at the end.
I'd obviously pick Ben. His 2006 season really stunted the perception of him and his growth. The truth is, he over came a lot with the bike accident and then the appendectomy to even be able to play. I think 2005 and 2007 are more indicative of the Ben we'll be seeing for years to come.

Of the three, I will say that Eli is the best, but Rivers over Roethlisberger? Don't get me wrong, Roethlisberger is an idiot, but at least he has a ring. They've had the same weaponry: 2 good runningbacks (Jacobs/Bradshaw, Bettis/Raker, Tomlinson/Turner) at least 1 good receiver (Plaxico/Toomer, Ward, Jackson [I'd say Chambers, but they just got him]), and at least one good TE (Boss, Miller, Gates) and only one of them hasn't produced a super bowl ring. I think that by itself makes a case for Roethlisberger being #2. Eli's victory is far more impressive than Ben's and I think he's correct at #1. Good points though, I was just surprised to see Ben where he was.

You're right on Matt, good breakdown. I wonder who's the best? If it weren't for Big Ben's season last year I'd take him. And now two of the three have championships. That's a tough decision, but I'll probably take Ben...wait Eli...wait Ben. Yeah, Ben, for where he was drafted. They all have their pros, but I know who I'd put last on the list, for sure Rivers for his arm strength.
