We’ve already gotten past the Super Bowl and into the postseason and already we know who the two principals are for the 2008 Hall Of Fame Game, set to take place in Canton, Ohio on August 3; according to the Pro Football Hall of Fame website, the preseason preceding the 2008-09 NFL regular season will commence when the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Redskins meet at Fawcett Stadium.
The game, played the day after the Hall’s induction of the Class of 2008, caps a multi-day festival in Canton. The Redskins bring a perfect 4-0 record into the HOF Game this summer, while the Colts are 2-1 in the preseason opener; a ticket policy for the game will be announced in the latter part of March.
