After much deliberation, the National Football League finally got two teams to play in England for next season. According to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune and confirmed by a league source, the San Diego Chargers and New Orleans Saints will play a regular season game at Wembley Stadium in London on October 26.
This will be the second regular-season game played internationally; the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins played at Wembley Stadium last October. The game will be San Diego’s 8th regular-season game in 2008 and they will have a bye week the following week. New Orleans will be the home team, so the Chargers will have 8 regular-season games at Qualcomm Stadium.

Hey, out there in cyber space. I just made my airline reservations for the Wembley Match in Oct. Does anybody have any suggestions on where to stay? Also when would be the best time to arrive for the pre game festivities et. al.? Where will all the SD fans be hanging out before the game and where and how can we hook up with the UK fans for some fun, food and spirits?
What about the Saints fan festivities?!!?
