Pacman In Legal Trouble Again?
Posted by Stephen Rhodes under Off The Field News, Tennessee Titans

Just when you thought suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones would keep his nose clean, he finds a way to get into trouble yet again – or so it appears. Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com reports and WSB-TV in Atlanta confirms that Jones punched a woman at a North Atlanta strip club (a recurring theme here?); but it gets better – get this – the woman Jones allegedly punched is an attorney.
Apparently the incident took place on January 3; the woman in question, Wanda Jackson, alleges that Jones entered a manager’s office, accusing the club of stealing money from him. She also states that Jones, during the meeting, lunged at her several times; she further alleges that Jones reached around a security guard and punched her after the meeting.
Despite the report’s lack of transparency, an arrest warrant apparently has been issued for Jones and that he’s due in court on February 8. The incident, if proven to be true, could result in a violation of his probation in Nevada, stemming from the Las Vegas night club incident from February 2007. And probably just as importantly, it would probably put him into contact yet again with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell; even though Jones has been cleared to re-join the Titans for offseason activities in March, the league could possibly impose more punishment on Jones, depending on the course of this most recent episode.
