It’s always fun to look ahead and start to get a gage on who would play who in the NFL Playoffs, which kicks off in six weeks. While there is still plenty of football left, here’s how the matchups would shape up if the season were to end today.

NFC

#1 Dallas (East Champion) would get a first round bye

#2 Green Bay (North Champion) would get a first round bye

#3 Tampa Bay (South Champion) would host #6 Detroit (wild card) in a first round game in Tampa

#4 Seattle (West Champion) would host #5 NY Giants (wild card) in a first round game in Seattle

AFC

#1 New England (East Champion) would get a first round bye

#2 Indianapolis (South Champion) would get a first round bye

#3 Pittsburgh (North Champion) would host #6 Cleveland in a first round game in Pittsburgh

#4 San Diego (West Champion) would host #5 Jacksonville in a first round game in San Diego
