L.T. vs the Jags last week

The Baltimore Ravens season of woe continues today as they head out west to take on the confusing San Diego Chargers.  The Ravens, who were 4-2 at one point, are 4-6 and have not won a game since beating the Rams 22-3 back on October 14th.  The Chargers have been up and down all season, losing games to the Chiefs, Vikings and last week the Jags.  They are a team that has totally underachieved in 2007, but still has a shot to make some noise if it can get back on track.

This game should see the Chargers do as they please against a Ravens defense that is getting worse by the week.  Last week at home they allowed tons of points (33) and yards to the Browns, and once they hit overtime they had no answers to stopping Cleveland from marching down the field and kicking a field goal to win.  Watch the Chargers offense have a solid amount of success, as Rivers and L.T. should do well here.

As for the offense of the Ravens, they are 23rd in the league, but showed life late against the awful Cleveland D last week.  The Chargers D is 24th in the league, so Kyle Boller should have some time to throw, but he’s known for making big mistakes, like the pick 6 last week against Cleveland.  I would not be surprised overall if this turns into a 28-24 type of game by the time it’s said and done.

Overall, the Chargers are the better team.  Is the window closing on the Ravens and this group.  A solid Ravens site - http://www.thelosscolumn.com, seems to think so, and I agree.  Look for the Chargers to move past .500 to 6-5 with a victory here.
