The Jaguars have gotten healthy in a hurry, and with it they seemed poised to be at worst a wild card team in the AFC. Sunday at home they take on a much better Bills team that even though they were beaten up last week by the Pats, had up until then had been playing much better football. Last week the Jags topped the Chargers at home to move to 7-3, and have won two straight since their setback three weeks ago vs the Saints.
Look for the Jags to be able to do what they want on offense tomorrow. They have a great 1-2 punch with their running game, and QB David Garrard is as close to 100 percent as he has been in awhile. They have been able to do a great mix of run and pass, and it’s a game plan that has kept opposing defenses off guard most of the season.
The Bills will need to create some turnovers, as well as keep the ball off the ground themselves. They miss and will continue to miss back Marshawn Lynch as long as he’s out of the lineup. The rookie was their playmaker on offense, and without them, they will be reduced to mostly throwing the ball and trying to make plays in the passing game, which also won’t be easy against a solid Jags defense led by Mike Peterson.
Look for Jacksonville to impose their will most of the day against the Bills, and with their solid mix on offense and even more solid defense, they will move to 8-3 with another impressive win.
