Donovan McNabb said earlier in the week that the road to winning the NFC East still goes through Philadelphia. Maybe he was right, but the Eagles might want to think about putting up a stop sign. The Dallas Cowboys had absolutely no troubles scoring against the Eagles defense, with six different players from the Cowboys scoring touchdowns. If the Eagles weren’t worried, sitting at 3-4, they should be now that they are 3 and 5.
Dallas Cowboys Quarterback made it a point to show the team owner, Jerry Jones, just why he was signed for 6 years for 67.5 million dollars. Romo completed 20 or 25 passes for 324 yards 3 TDs and only one interception. Terrell Owens had a big night as well with 10 catches for 174 yards and a TD. Marion Barber, Julius Jones, Jason Witten and Tony Curtis also did there part and had a touch down a piece.
There are quite a few players on the team you could give game balls to, but for his pure tenacity I would have to give the game ball to Jason Witten. Hit in the face, nearly tackled, helmet ripped off, and nose bloodied still didn’t slow him down when receiving a pass up the middle. He would run for another 20 yards before being taken down. If you are looking for an Iron Man look no further than Dallas Cowboys TE Jason Witten.
