WSH (-4) over NYJ
‘Skins and Jets are both reeling and slumping big-time – I’ll go with Washington because of their defense and they will breakout out of it with a balanced attack and consistent game plan that’ll work.

KC (-1.5) over GB
Classic Home team wins the game in which it will have the lower record (4-3) team outplaying a better team with a very good record (6-1), Chiefs are excellent at home and they will have an exceptional offensive performance, along with winning the turnover margin with timely defense. Larry Johnson and Tony Gonzalez will have field days and combine for 3 trips to pay dirt, making it in the end zone regularly in this contest. I say KC wins by two scores or more and surprises lots of folk’ with a playoff-like coming out party in a huge victory!

ARZ (+3.5) over TB
Cards offense does big things and the defense does more than enough, as Arizona does its job and gets a win on the road. Offense will go for over 400 total yards and score 27+ points and the defense will score and hold Tampa to 14 or less. Arizona is a team that will come out firing and clicking on all cylinders, as they will dominate the Bucs and show why they are the team to win the NFC West.

TENN (-4) over Car
Titans win this match-up by another close margin of victory, as they will run the ball a lot, once again, and they will stop the run with ease. They do this effectively, and having been doing it all year long, game in and game out, no change here – Tennessee is too tough for Carolina and they will out hustle and will themselves to 6-2.

ATL (-3) over SF
Falcons offense plays better in this snooze fest and their defense makes some plays in a battle between which run game is better and who’s defense will force more turnovers – I’ll go with the home squad and they will decide the game with sound, fundamental play, along with a couple of big plays to go their way at the end, in the crunch time moments of the all-important 4th qtr (yea, right!).

NO (-3.5) over Jax
Saints and Brees will lead the gang to another win by a ton, their offense is on fire and it won’t be quenched.

DENV (+3) over Det
Lions are overachieving and it will stop here, this week against Culter and Co., as Denver will show the “real” Broncos, the one’s that beat Pittsburgh on Sunday Nite, not the team that showed up and “choked” out a loss against GB on Monday Nite.

BUFF (+1.5) over Cin
No respect yet for the BILLS…? They will earn it here by humiliating the Bungals and winning this game by 17. Buffalo has a strong defense, solid rushing attack, and Lee Evans is coming into his usual self, in big-play form, connecting with Losman for deep balls and TD’s receptions, so take Buffalo to win at HOME – this game will go the Bills way throughout and it will be played at their style and tempo of flow.

SD (-7.5) over Min
Chargers by 24 or more! San Diego is the 3rd best team in the NFL and their offense is playing lights out and the defense is on a roll! Chargers to win convincingly and run, yes run, and pass all over Minnesota in a laugher, cruising to a win – annihilating A.P. and friends, showing the NFL that they are up there in the Class of NE and Indy, to be rightly and deservedly so, talked about in the same breath/sentence with those two powerhouses! Chargers have the right amount of balanced and a complete team to go all the way! Mark it down and watch them smoke their opponents and dominate. This game will be no different that last week’s blowout victory!

SEA (+1.5) over Cleve
Tough to go against Cleveland at home on a roll (? – beat Mia and Stl), but Seattle has the better attacking defense and a good running game that will open up the play action pass for big plays down the field.

INDY (+6.5) over NE
COLTS to win this game by 7 or more because of Mr. Addai from LSU, the ball control offense, and a defense that will pressure Sir Brady and the bunch from Foxboro.

OAK (-3) over Hou
Raiders win by default because of a defense that is scary good at times and an offense that is scary in the wrong way – they will run the ball better and play good enough to win by 10.

PHILLY (+3) over Dal
EAGLES win will this game outright and come out on top victorious – making you think, are they the team that’s 6-1, not 3-4…? Dawkins is back to lead the defense and the sack leading artist DE Trent Cole, adds to his list of 9 victims this year, in a game that Philadelphia will cruise back to .500 – winning by two scores because of the trio of: Donovan McNabb, Brian Westbrook, and Kevin Curtis. Eagles defense will preserve a home victory and the offense will throw and run by/past a porous ‘boys defense – that will have experts wondering if the Eagles are back to their good ole’ selves? Philly is a LOCK to come out at home and make a STATEMENT! This is their game to win and crush their division rival by a big margin!

PITT (-10) over Bal
Pittsburgh beats Baltimore by more than 10 because of a late score on defense and because of an offense that will run the ball and pass for a score each, en route to a divisional win in Heinz Field. Steelers are a borderline Top 5 team and they have more going for ‘em than Baltimore does – expect ‘em to be in complete control throughout this match-up.
