Chargers Gab Editor Jim Dubenetzky’s NFL Picks for Week 8
Posted by Jim Dubenetzky under Picks

Season: 48-48-8 Last Week: 5-9
BROWNS -3 at Rams
Even with Stephen Jackson Back the Rams will not be able to keep up
with the high scoring Cleveland offense.
BEARS -5 vs Lions
This was a tough pick for me but when in doubt you always have to go
with the best defense and that is Chicago.
COLTS -7 at Panthers
There is no doubt that the defending Super Bowl Champs will beat the
Panthers by more than a touchdown.
GIANTS -9.5 vs Miami
The Giants will be a lot more focused and ready to play in London and
Miami wont be able to do much of anything without Ronnie Brown.
TITANS -7.5 vs Raiders
The Raiders have been weak against the spread the last few weeks so I
am staying away from them.
EAGLES -1 at Vikings
McNabb will have a big day against a below average Minnesota secondary.
STEELERS -3.5 at Bengals
The Steelers defense will step up and shut down the Bengals offense
and don’t forget that Cincy doesn’t really have a defense.
BILLS +3 at Jets
Buffalo is playing well of late and the Jets just aren’t very good.
TEXANS +9.5 vs Chargers
The Chargers have been distracted enough this week to keep them from
beating the Texans by 10 points, but the bolts will win.
JAGUARS +4 at Buccaneers
Yes, the Jags did lose thier QB but they didn’t lose thier solid
running game and they are pissed about the loss to Indy.
SAINTS -3 at 49er’s
The Saints have been getting better the last few weeks and I can’t
justify picking the 49er’s anymore, even if Alex Smith is coming back.
PATRIOTS -16.5 vs Washington
Washington has a solid defense but New England has a great offense.
NE will beat the tar out of Washington, like they have every other
team they have faced.
PACKERS +3 at Broncos
I am not buying into the Broncos just because they found a way to beat
the Steelers. Brett Favre will play mistake free football and lead
his team to a win under the spotlight of Monday Night Football.
