Week 1 Preview, Carolina at St. Louis
Posted by Stephen Rhodes under Carolina Panthers, St. Louis Rams

This game, just by the expected offensive fireworks by the St. Louis Rams alone, is reason enough to watch this game. Probably the only things in question here are: How will the announcers for this massacre fill in the air time when the game gets out of reach? Also - will the over/under be reached? (I think that it will and then some.) Some things to look for during this game:
The Rams this week got the secondary of their dreams to face, as Rams quarterback has to be drooling at the prospect of facing Panther safeties Chris Harris and Deke Cooper. And you can expect Rams running back Steven Jackson to have a productive day as well, racking up somewhere around 26 carries, 125 yards and a touchdown (maybe 2). If the Panthers have anything good going for them this week, it is that linebacker Dan Morgan is back.
Also, Rams cornerback Tye Hill will have his work cut out as he draws Panthers WR Steve Smith as his assignment (sucks to be Hill this week). And don’t forget about Panthers defensive tackle Kris Jenkins. Jenkins has lost some weight which should help him against Rams guard Milford Brown in the trenches. An enjoyable game to watch if for the offensive fireworks alone. The Rams by at least 10.

Thats why they play the game there guy. Never count anyone out. Carolina is poised for a bigg year. This team, although they kill me, has a good year every other year and this is their year to be good. St. Louis winning by 10. Good call.
