Dolphins and QB Beck Come to Terms
Posted by Stephen Rhodes under Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins and second-round pick QB John Beck, have reached an agreement on a four-year contract. The contract was signed in time for Beck to attend Monday meetings and also not miss any rookie camp. Beck’s contract is a three-year deal with an option year. Only one Dolphins draft pick, WR Ted Ginn, Jr., remains unsigned.
Beck, who many consider the Dolphins quarterback of the future, also attended Monday workouts. He should be able to easily grasp onto the Dolphins’ offensive playbook as the BYU graduate played in a pro-style offense. I still think the Dolphins should’ve grabbed QB Brady Quinn, but Beck is not a bad consolation prize. He better be a quick learner only because the Dolphins have Trent Green and there’s that “unknown risk” (in other words, the chance of injury for Green).
