Arrington Hospitalized After Crashing Motorcycle

Former New York Giants and Washington linebacker LaVar Arrington was reportedly in stable condition in a Maryland hospital after crashing his motorcycle on Monday. The three time Pro Bowl Linebacker was expected to stay at the hospital at least through Tuesday morning. According to Maryland State Police Arrington lost control of his vehicle and hit a guard rail. Police do not know what speed he was traveling at when the mishap occurred.
Arrington suffered some broken bones in the crash according to a statement released by his attorney. He was cited by the police for driving without a proper license, and failure to control speed to avoid a collision.Arrington was drafted in the first round by Washington in the 2000 NFL Draft and was a starter there until signing with the Giants before last season. He was released by New York in February, and is still unsigned. Arrington was still recovering from an Achilles tendon injury that forced him to miss ten games last year.
